  • Developed and maintained an open-source quality checking and preprocessing pipeline for neuroimaging data and JSON metadata files using Python. https://github.com/kdestasio/bidsQC
  • Programmed computerized tasks for use during fMRI scans using PsychoPy. https://github.com/kdestasio/child_task and adapted extant MATLAB tasks.
  • Regularly conducted complex analyses of survey, behavioral, and neuroimaging data using MATLAB, R, and Bash, applying explanatory and predictive models.

  • Developed and taught programming tutorials to graduate students and faculty. Topics included: Creating websites with Hugo using R, HTML and CSS | Introduction to Git and GitHub | R Shiny applications | Programming basics for research scientists.
